Islamic Dilemma

• Christians either have the Gospel (the inspired Word of God) or we don't. If we have the inspired Word of God, Islam is false, because it contradicts what we have. If we don't have the inspired Word of God, Islam is false, because the Quran affirms the scriptures we have. So, if we have the scriptures, Islam is false, and if we don't have the scriptures, Islam is false.
• Islamic counter arguments
• Dawah say that the Injeel (Gospel) was a book given to Jesus from Allah, and the Injeel is not the New Testament. If Christians say that we don't believe that the Injeel was a book given to Jesus from Allah, Muslims will say that they agree with us that Christians don't believe in the Injeel. The Dawahs are arguing that Christians don't have the revelation given to them from Jesus, so what Christians believe is not the book that Allah gave Jesus.
• As proof that Allah gave Jesus a book, Dawah quote 5:46 "And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear God."
• Christian counter to the Islamic arguments
• The Quran makes it clear that Christians do have the Injeel. 7:157 "Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel..." Does that sound like a book given to Jesus? No. It specifically affirms that we have the Gospel.
• 5:46 says that Jesus was given the Gospel, but it doesn't say he was given a book. We historically know how the Gospel came to be in book form. It certainly wasn't written by Jesus, yet Allah confirms the Gospel that Christians have in 3:3-4 "He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel"."Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution".
• If you're going to use 5:46, you must keep it in context and read 5:47 as well "Let the people of the Gospel judge by what God hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what God hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel." What does Allah say here? That we Christians must judge by the scriptures we have. The scriptures now? Of course not... He was talking about the scriptures in Mohammad's time. He wasn't saying that we need to judge by scriptures in some mysterious book that we don't have, but by the scriptures that they had at the time, or the Injeel. The Injeel was not lost, as the Dawah like to say.

Allah

• Muslims say that Jehovah is not the god of Islam and His name is not YHWH
• Exodus 3:13-16 says God is I Am That I Am. And His name is YHWH.
• Quran 20:14 says “I am Allah. There is no god except me.”
• Quran 37:130 “Peace be upon Ilyas” and Quran 37:123 “Ilyas was a messenger…”
  • Ilyas is arabic for Elijah, or Eliyahu in Hebrew,, which means, “My God is YHWH”
  • So the Quran contradicts itself saying that God’s name is Allah, but confirming that God’s name is YHWH.
• Quran 6:85 “And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias, and all were of the righteous.”
  • Zechariah: YHWH is renowned
  • John: YHWH is a gracious giver
  • Jesus: YHWH is salvation
  • Elias is the Greek form for Elijah: My God is YHWH
• Other names in Hadiths or Quran:
  1. Joshua: YHWH is salvation
  2. Micaiah: Who is like YHWH
  3. Obadiah: Servant of YHWH
  4. Jeremiah: YHWH will raise
  5. Zephaniah: Protected by YHWH
  6. Joel: YHWH is God
• Elohim is a title. Allah is Arabic for Elohim. Mohammad mistook Christians and Jews calling God Elohim instead of YHWH out of respect (Because we don’t talk about God using His name. That would be like me referring to my own father as his name. That’s disrespectful, so you don’t refer to God with His name for the same reason.) and said the Muslim god’s name was Allah.
• Allah is a deceiver
  • 3:54 They plotted and schemed, but so did GOD, and GOD is the best schemer.
    • Don’t fall for the versions that change the wording to planner instead of schemer. The word translated is makr, which means crafty. Crafty means schemer. There’s nothing nice about it. Makr is deception.
  • The Heavenly Father has an answer to this schemer. Isaiah 32:7-8 "Also the schemes of the schemer are evil; He devises wicked plans To destroy the poor with lying words, Even when the needy speaks justice. But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand."
    
    We'll see if his name is found in the book of life. I think his name will be found to be another name of Satan.

Mohammad

• Supposedly prophesied about in the Bible.
• Muslims quote John 14:26, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
• They never read it for themselves though. It clearly says:
• The Helper is the Holy Spirit. Not Mohammad.
• The Father will send it in Jesus's name. Certainly not Mohammad.
• The Helper will bring to remembrance all things Jesus said. Not Mohammad.
• The Helper would come to Jesus's disciples. Mohammad came hundreds of years later, so not Mohammad.
• Sex Addict
• Sahih al-Bukhari 268, "Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas, "Had the Prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men).""
• Sahih Bukhari 268 says he had 11 wives. The Quran says Muslims can have 4 Quran 4:3. Mohammad had more because Allah gave him special privileges. Quran 33:50. It's strange how these cult leaders are always granted sexual favors. 
• Married a 6 year old girl and had sex with her when she was 9
  • Allah's Messenger married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine. She further said: We went to Medina and I had an attack of fever for a month, and my hair had come down to the earlobes. Umm Ruman (my mother) came to me and I was at that time on a swing along with my playmates. She called me loudly and I went to her and I did not know what she had wanted of me. She took hold of my hand and took me to the door, and I was saying: Ha, ha (as if I was gasping), until the agitation of my heart was over. She took me to a house, where had gathered the women of the Ansar. They all blessed me and wished me good luck and said: May you have share in good. She (my mother)entrusted me to them. They washed my head and embellished me and nothing frightened me. Allah's Messenger (, may peace be upon him) came there in the morning, and I was entrusted to him. - (Sahih Muslim 1422a, Book 16, Hadith 81-86)
• Married the wife of his own adopted son (and then abolished adoption (Quran 33:4-5. Makes them no longer mahram, or a son.)). This guy divorced his wife so Mohammad could take her.
  • And ˹remember, O Prophet,˺ when you said to the one for whom Allah has done a favour and you ˹too˺ have done a favour, “Keep your wife and fear Allah,” while concealing within yourself what Allah was going to reveal. And ˹so˺ you were considering the people, whereas Allah was more worthy of your consideration. So when Zaid totally lost interest in ˹keeping˺ his wife, We gave her to you in marriage, so that there would be no blame on the believers for marrying the ex-wives of their adopted sons after their divorce. And Allah’s command is totally binding. - Quran 33:37
• He slept with his slave girls
• He tortured a man for money
• Was a caravan raider
• Ordered his followers to execute people for making fun of him

Wife Beating

• Quran says men can strike their wives if they suspect them of wrongdoing

• Quran 4:34 "Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely God is high, supreme."
1. admonish them: The husband is to verbally admonish her
2. send them to beds apart: If that fails the husband is to sexually desert his wife
3. beat them: If both measures above fail the husband is commanded to beat his wife.

Bible

• Surah 16:36 And certainly We have raised in every nation an apostle (saying): Serve Allah and shun false gods.”
• Quran 3:84 Says: 'We believe in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and to Issac and Jacob and his descendents, and the teachings which Allah gave to Moses and Jesus and to other Prophets. We make no distinction between any of them and to Him do we submit.
• Quran 3:3-4 "He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel"."Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution".
  • Bayna yadayhi means before, as in, I will stand before God one day. So when the Quran says it confirms scriptures before it, that's what it means. It means the contemporary scriptures, so the Quran confirms the validity of the Torah and New Testament.

The Sumerian Moon-God (Honestly, this is controversial, but I included it just because it's a topic of interest. It hasn't been proven true.)

1. Name is Sin, or Suen, and AKA Nanna. This is who Islam’s god is. Notice how they use the moon symbol? After Mohammad broke his peace treaty, he invaded Mecca and destroyed all the other gods in the Kaaba. Muslims still make the Hajj and do circles around the Kaaba and kiss the stone.

Weird Things in the Quran

• Sun sets in a muddy pool, or in a spring
  • “Then, when he came to the setting of the sun, he found it setting into a muddy spring. And he found near it a people.“ - (Qur’an 18:86)
  • “Do you know where it [sun] sets?” The companion [Abu Dharr] replied, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He responded, “Indeed, it sets in a hot spring.” - (Abu Dawud 4002)
• Stars are missiles that Allah uses to shoot demons
  • And indeed, We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps, and made them ˹as missiles˺ for stoning ˹eavesdropping˺ devils, for whom We have also prepared the torment of the Blaze. - (Quran 67:5)
• Semen forms between the backbone and the ribs
  • So let man observe from what he was created. He was created from a fluid, ejected, Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. - (Quran 86:5-7)
• Allows marriage of prepubescent girls
  • This surah is concerning the waiting period after divorce that someone must wait to remarry a girl. Surah 65:4 As for your women past the age of menstruation, in case you do not know, their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well. As for those who are pregnant, their waiting period ends with delivery. And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them.

Quran

1. Written by Abdullah Ibn Massud, Obeid Bin Kaab, Zayed Ibn Tabid, Moya Ibn Abu Sufyan. Was passed orally at first, then written down by these men. Because there were variances, Uthman burned all the copies except the one from Zayed. Yet, we're supposed to believe that there are no variances, and the Quran is the direct word from God. Seriously, think about it. This part of the history of the Quran alone destroys that narrative. The fact that there are 26 different Arabic versions just adds to the destruction.

Corruption in Quran

1. Muslims hold that there have been no changes to even one letter since the surahs were uttered by Mohammad. This is very not true. There are 26 different versions with different numbers of chapters, and completely different meanings in the verses.

Hajj

• Adopted from pagan practices
• Islam claims it’s a practice from Abraham (Although there’s nothing about it in the Bible). Supposedly, Abraham came to the desert of Mecca and left Hagar and Ishmael with little to eat or drink. By a miracle, God created a well and had Zamzam water gush out. This Zamzam water keeps you hydrated and feeds you. Of course, Islam says that the water will satisfy your hunger only if you drink it with faith… Ishmael settles there, and Abraham returns a while later and instructs Ishmael to build a cube for Allah, and Abraham would go out into the world to let them know that henceforth everyone would need to visit the Kaaba.
  • Quran 22:27 “Proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass…”

• Challenges to the Hajj

• Abraham was never anywhere near Mecca
• Ishmael married a woman from Egypt, not anywhere near Mecca
• Abraham never instructed anyone to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca, or anywhere. Notice how Jews nor Christians perform a Hajj?
• If Jews corrupted it, but then Jesus was sent, but Jesus didn’t teach about the Hajj, wouldn’t that mean Jesus taught wrongly, or left out a key element of Christianity? That’s just stupid.
• There are no Jewish or Christian writings anywhere from any source mentioning the Kaaba
• It’s not certain where the Kaaba came from, but likely from Arab polytheist tribes in Yemen. The Quraysh tribe took control and put in their god Hubal. They made the Kaaba a safe place where fighting was forbidden. The Quran says the same thing: Quran 2:125 “We made the House a place of security”
• There was a second Kaaba in Yemen called Dhul Khalasa. When Mohammad conquered Mecca and the Kaaba, he ordered his followers to go to Yemen and destroy the other Kaaba. The destruction of the other Kaaba is recorded in Sahih Bukhari 5:59:641. They set upon it with 150 people and destroyed it.
• Jews used to make fun of Mohammad for praying to Jerusalem, so Mohammad had to make the Kaaba holy so they could pray to Mecca. Quran 3:96 The first House established for the people was that at Bekka, a place holy, and a guidance to all beings. Quran 5:97 Allah made the Kaaba, the Sacred House, an asylum of security for men…
• If Islam is of the same Abrahamic tradition, why don’t we, Jews or Christians, circle something seven times, then kiss it? However, there were Arab pagan practices that did… Sahih Bukhari 5:59:661 We used to worship stones[...] and circumambulate them.
• Why? How would a black rock(meteor) bring intercession!??
• Even Umar recognized it was just a stone. Sahih Bukhari 2:26:667 “Verily, I know you are only a stone with no power to harm or benefit me. Were it not that I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, kiss you, I would not have kissed you” Umar was the leader of Muslims after Mohammad.
• Ask any muslim why they do the Hajj and they’ll say it’s a Sunnah, a tradition, because Mohammad used to do it.
• Mohammad adopted the practice from pagans
  • Sahih Bukhari 1:8:365 Pagans kept performing pilgrimage to the Kaaba until Muhammad banned Pagans from the Kaaba.
  • Quran 9:28 “The Polytheists are filthy. Let them not approach the Holy Mosque after the year.”
• In Hinduism, they circumambulate around their deities, and is probably where the practice came from originally.
• In Hinduism, they are required to wear robes when doing their circles. Wouldn’t you know? Muslims are required too!: Sahih Bukhari 2:26:706 People used to wear the Ihram while worshipping the idol Manat.
• Polytheists used to sacrifice animals during their pilgrimage. Muslims do too. Sahih Bukhari 7:66:378 Pre-Islamic polytheists would practice the sacrifice.
• Polytheists used to shave their heads during their pilgrimage, chant, and walk between two pillars (Safa and Marwa). Muslims do all of this too.
  • Sahih Bukhari 2:26:710 I asked Anas bin Malik: “Did you use to dislike to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwa?” He said, “Yes, as it was of the ceremonies of the days of the Pre-Islamic period of ignorance, till Allah revealed: ‘Verily! Safa and Marwa are among the symbols of Allah…”
  • Quran 2:158 Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs ‘umrah - there is no blame upon them for walking between them.

Arguments that Muslims Usually Have Against Christianity

• Bible is corrupted - I've never seen any Muslim explain when or how, since The Quran confirms the scriptures for both Jews and Christians, and they have no explanation of what the Injil contains, so they have no point of reference to make that claim from. They only say this because they have no other explanation as to why our scriptures contradict theirs.
• There is no Trinity - Jesus told us to baptize in the name of The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit
• Jesus was not God
  • Jesus claimed to be God, and put Himself equal to The Father. John 10:30-33 “I and My Father are one.” Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.””
  • John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
  • Jesus called himself, “Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Rev 22:13
